Coaching
- I’m a British Cycling level 3 Road and Time Trial, plus Level 2 cyclo-cross coach. I’m currently a coach at Cadence Performance based in Crystal Palace and was formerly the British Cycling partnership coach at Cyclopark where I still run regular training and coached sessions for all abilities, from beginner’s learn to ride sessions right through to elite level sessions featuring some of the regions best riders, on and off road.
- I coach a number of riders from novice to Elite levels in the UK and Europe on a one to one basis, focusing mainly on the road, TT and Cyclo-Cross scenes. I’ve also been the coach to the South East School Games team on two occasions.
- I’m Currently involved with British Cycling’s women & girls initiative to increase participation and ability in women’s racing and women’s coaching. As part of that project I have organised various novice women only session around the UK, details of which appear here.
- In 2014 I launched the novice racer’s sessions for men and women which have subsequently become part of the Surrey League’s Safer Racing Initiative which has since been adopted by the South East Road Race League (SERRL)
- I organised, designed and built the course for 2017 National Trophy Cyclo-Cross race at Cyclopark.
Editorial & Photography
- My coaching work takes me to a lot of domestic races so I also provide event photography and reporting for a number of websites and magazines including Cycling Weekly and British Cycling, as well as providing promotional material for a number of the UK’s leading teams and riders.
